Cautions and Warnings: Consult a health care practitioner prior to use: if you are pregnant or breast-feeding, have a liver disorder or diabetes or following a low protein diet or taking medications which inhibit peristaltic movement or if you have symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or fever. Contra-Indications: DO NOT USE: if you have difficulty swallowing; if you have hypokalemia, high blood pressure, kidney, cardiovascular disorder or diabetes mellitus in which blood sugar is difficult to regulate; if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives, or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte balance.
